City of Surrey, Greater Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada 15-21 May, 2011.

Did you see Vancouver and British Columbia on the Winter Olympics Television Coverage -wasn’t it great? Fortunately we will be visiting when it isn’t quite so cold. Vancouver and its surrounds were outstanding hosts for another wonderful celebration of winter sports....and now it is Vintage Softball’s turn to enjoy the hospitality, friendship, fun and celebration of a sports event in one of the sporting capitals of world.

Just over 12 months before the 3rd World Vintage Fastpitch Carnival starts with a Welcome Party at the fabulous Softball City Complex in the City of Surrey just south of Vancouver.

Preparations are going really well and we have a very competent group of local softball enthusiasts who are making preparations for a fun Carnival of good competitive Fastpitch and plenty of relax and recreation time during the week of celebrations of the great game of softball.

Team entries are starting to come in as organisers take the opportunity to register as an early bird and to take advantage of the great early-bird benefits.

Top quality facilities, excellent local administration and a great bunch of softball enthusiasts ensure a really good Carnival. Teams will play a minimum of 8 games in the age group and team grading that they select. All teams are asked to assess their own playing strength and to let us know so that we can try and make games as even as possible.

The 3rd World Vintage Fastpitch Carnival is designed to ensure maximum enjoyment and participation by the softball teams that will be getting together to share their love of the game in beautiful British Columbia.
